The DuraTrap® AT LP (Aluminum Titanate, Low Porosity) filter is a monolithic wall-flow design utilizing an aluminum titanate (AT) ceramic composition. The AT material delivers an exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), enabling unsegmented monolithic construction — eliminating the adhesive cement joints required by segmented SiC filters. This monolithic design provides uniform thermal performance and eliminates the risk of joint failure under high-temperature regeneration events.
